Frequently asked questions

Q: What kind of events do you offer your services?

We provide our service for birthday parties, school events, festivals, corporate gatherings, church events, and more!

Q: What type of paints do you use?

We use high-quality, professional, hypoallergenic, and non-toxic paints that are safe for all skin types. All products are FDA-compliant and easily washable.

Q: How long does each face painting take?

It depends on the design each child chooses — some are quick and simple, others more detailed.
But more than timing, our priority is that each child enjoys a fun and unique experience.
We focus on making them smile and feel special — that’s what makes them want us back at their next party

Q: How can I book or get a quote?

You can fill out our booking form or contact us directly via phone, text, or email. We’ll reply quickly with availability and pricing details. (click here)

Q: Can face painting be done outdoors?

Yes, face painting can be done outdoors, but it's important to consider certain factors. We require a shaded area to protect our staff and the guests being painted from direct sunlight. Additionally, windy conditions or excessive heat can affect the face paint application and durability, so we prefer a comfortable and sheltered location whenever possible.

Q: Do you require a deposit for booking?

Yes, we require a deposit to secure your date and time. Deposits are non-refundable, as they hold your spot exclusively.
If you need to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ll review it case by case. (see our Terms & Conditions)

Terms & Conditions

Accepted payment methods: Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, Credit Cards via Square (3.5% fee) or Paypal (3.5% fee)

The client is responsible for any fees or expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, incurred by Dream It! Face Painting Service in collecting overdue payments.

Rescheduling / Changes:
To reschedule or change the event date, the client must notify Dream It! Face Painting Service at least 5 days prior to the event. All rescheduling requests are subject to date/time availability and may incur change fees or rate adjustments.

Day of Event Procedures

A day before the event, a DreamIt representative will contact the client to confirm all service details, including time, location, and selected entertainment.

Arrival & Setup:

On the day of the event, the entertainer will arrive 10–15 minutes before the scheduled start time to set up and prepare materials.

The client must ensure that parking is available and close enough for the entertainer to safely unload materials and access the event area easily.
Any parking fees or access restrictions are the client’s responsibility and must be communicated in advance.

If suitable parking is not available upon arrival, any additional time spent locating or walking from distant parking will be deducted from the scheduled service time and will not be replaced or extended.
Failure to provide reasonable parking access may result in cancellation of services, without refund of the deposit or any payments made.

Upon arrival, the entertainer will check in with the client or the person listed on the contract to collect any remaining balance due before starting services.

DreamIt provides all necessary materials and equipment to perform the service (such as paints, brushes, balloons, glitter, etc.).
The designated setup area (see Performance Areas) must be ready, clean, safe, and easily accessible upon arrival.

Performance & Breaks:

The entertainer will perform the services as agreed.
For events lasting more than 2 hours, entertainers are entitled to a 10-minute break to rest, hydrate, or refresh supplies.

If additional time is requested, it may be approved only if the entertainer’s schedule allows, and an extra fee will apply.

Line Control & End Time:

Entertainers are not responsible for managing or organizing lines during their performance.
If the line becomes too long, the entertainer reserves the right to “cut” or stop the line to ensure services are completed within the scheduled time frame.

Teardown & Departure:

After finishing, the entertainer will clean up and remove all materials promptly, leaving the area in proper condition.
Teardown time does not count toward the service hours booked
